| Making an aqua style. | |
| Make a new document, 1000×1000 pixels, white background | |

| Get the type tool from the left menu and select the “Tahoma” font. | |

| Now type your desired text. I used tahoma 120 points, black color. | |

| Now enter the layer style. We will start to build this aqua style. First go check the stroke and give it a dark blue color. I used #00138e | |

| Now go and check the “Gradient overlay”. Give it a gradeint overlay from a dark blue to a lighter blue, like in my example. | |

| Now to cover a little the gradient, go to color overlay, choose a medium blue color and drag
the opacity slider to about 70-75%. |

| To “paint” a little the text, go to satin and use a light blue on Linear dodge. | |

| Give a little bevel like in my example. Starting to look like aqua, no? | |

| Now use a little inner glow, inner shadow and drop shadow. You can play with my values or
you can build your own aqua style. You’re done. |

| PS. You can save your newly created aqua style to for future use. In th Layer style dialogue, press “new style” and in the window that will appear, give it a name and hit OK. Your style is saved. | |
